Board info

As a non-profit childcare Centre, Arbutus Grove Children’s Centre is overseen by an amazing group of dedicated Board members. The Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers – mostly parents – who govern the society and its operation of our three key programs:

  • Early Years Program 

  • School Age Program 

  • Nature Program

The Board of Directors, led by the Board Chair, has a unique leadership role in governing the organization: to set policies, take responsibility for strategic planning, financial/fiscal and legal responsibilities and fundraising. The Board also assures the Director has the support they require to manage the operation of the organization.

The 2021-2022 Board is currently recruiting for the new term. Do you have knowledge and/or experience in any of the following:

  • Accounting/Finance

  • NFP Governance

  • Legal

  • Fundraising

  • HR

  • Communications/Marketing

  • NFP business operations

  • Childcare

  • Strategic planning
